Custom Search Updated

If you enjoyed our Custom Search before, you’re going to love it now.

In a constant effort to improve our site and to give our users the most functionality possible, we updated our Custom Search to make it more expansive, yet easier to use.

A “Lakes” category has been added to allow users, particularly fantasy anglers, the opportunity to narrow down their searches to specific bodies of water.

The page has also gone to a check-box system, thus allowing users to check as many or few boxes to see how anglers stack up. For instance, a user could check two boxes and see who is the best on the BASS Elite Series on Kentucky Lake the last six years (Kevin VanDam), or he could check a number of boxes and see who is the best FLW Tour pro on the entire Tennessee River system of lakes (Andy Morgan).

As for the date range, a sliding bar has been added to added to quickly narrow to a particular time period. The user can also click in the date boxes and be presented with a calendar for more specific dates. The range has also been shortened for the time being to go back only as far as 2006. However, expect this to expand exponentially in the near future.
