Movers & Shakers: Dudley back at No. 1

For some reason, not all the results from the two Minor events this weekend have been posted. Hopefully, they will be today, and we’ll have a Minors-Only World Ranking update tomorrow.

In the meantime, we have some Majors happenings that require an article. Namely, that David Dudley is back in the No. 1 slot in the Majors World Ranking.

Late last week, the 2010 BASS Elite Series on Kentucky Lake dropped off — a tournament Kevin VanDam won. When it dropped, so did KVD’s average, allowing Dudley to regain that top spot. VanDam will also lose a sixth at Fort Gibson this week.

Obviously, the next two weeks will go a long way to determining who will head into the offseason ranked No. 1, as the Elite Series has two events in Wisconsin and the FLW Tour heads to Lake Champlain.

This could get interesting, as Dudley and VanDam are only one percentage point apart, with Edwin Evers and Andy Morgan only three and four points back, respectively.
