College Update

0

The College Rankings have been around for little more than a week and there’s already been some shuffling in the rankings!

How? Leave it up to college students to hold a tournament in the middle of December.

A week before Christmas, Stephen F. Austin University held its Bucketmouth Invitational. Aside from it being notable that these college anglers wasted no time in getting into the boat during their holiday break, the most notable happening during the event was that it was SFA teammates Kyle Turner and Blaze Platt’s third tournament together. That means they went from unranked to No. 2 overall in the College Team Ranking. The two also moved into a tie for third in the College Individual Ranking.

We also added the Wackem College Open that took place on Aug. 25-26, and we will continue to follow that trail in 2013.
