Movers & Shakers: Minors Update

1

Anyone hoping to catch Kris Wilson for the No. 1 spot has their work cut out for them.

The Montgomery, Texas, native fished the FLW EverStart on Lake Amistad over the weekend and only improved his average — now at 956.940 — by placing fifth. That makes four straight top 10s in Minor competition.

However, everyone got a boost when Trevor Fitzgerald again dropped off the list (he was No. 3) when a 2011 BASS Open on Lake Toho dropped off. That goes double for Hank Cherry, who jumped from 27th to 11th with that tournament no longer weighing down his average.

Meanwhile, Stephen Johnston’s rise from 23rd to 13th comes courtesy of his top five at Amistad.

Other notable moves include Luke Gritter (46th to 21st), Phil Marks (44th to 26th) and David Harvey debuting at No. 28.

Check back Wednesday for an update on the Regional and College rankings.
