Movers & Shakers: Minors Update

0

It’s been a little while since we checked in on the Minors-Only Ranking. So here’s the latest.

Jeff Michels still sits atop the ranking, with Trevor Fitzgerald behind him.

As for any moves after the weekend’s FLW EverStart at the Detroit River, there were a few in the top 50.

Every time we had mentioned Art Ferguson’s name recently it seemed to be to announce he was climbing. Unfortunately, this week it’s the opposite. Ferguson finished 62nd at the Detroit River and slipped from 24th to 41st this week.

Meanwhile, Rick Taylor had himself a great event on the Detroit River, finishing second to climb 17 spots to 29th in the ranking. Right behind him now is Troy Lindner, who came home  — he lives in California but grew up in the Midwest — to finish 13th at the Detroit River. That finish bumped him 11 spots to 30th in the ranking.

Finally, after having dropped from the ranking, Joe Balog’s 11th at the Detroit River again gave him the minimum amount of tournaments. He currently resides in 51st.
