Death. Taxes. Keith Combs making the top five at the Toyota Texas Bass Classic.
Including this past weekend — where Combs won at Lake Conroe — Combs’ last four finishes at the TTBC are first, third, first and fourth. Basically, he has dominated the tournament. So, no surprise that he’s now in the top 20 (No. 17 to be exact) in the Majors Ranking after this weekend.
However, that’s not the biggest news in the ranking after this weekend. If you look at the top, there’s a new name.
Andy Morgan finished 26th at the TTBC, allowing Bryan Thrift, who finished 10th, to jump him for the No. 1 spot in the ranking. We will go more in-depth into Thrift’s being back at the No. 1 spot again later, as he will more than likely head into the offseason as the top angler.
There were plenty of other notable moves throughout the Majors Ranking, so be sure to check it out.
