Movers & Shakers: Minors-Only Update

0

Chris McCall is making a push for the No. 1 spot in the Minors-Only Ranking.

The Brookeland, Texas, pro won the FLW Rayovac Series event on Sam Rayburn over the weekend, and in the process climbed to No. 2 in the rankings behind Jeff Michels. With Michels’ season about to get underway, things could get very interesting atop the ranking.

There were actually two Minor events this past weekend — there was a BASS Open on Lake Toho won by Van Soles — but the majority of the moves at the top of the ranking were due to the outcome at Rayburn.

For instance, here’s just what happened in the top 10 from that one event: We already talked about McCall, Kris Wilson fell from No. 4 to 21st, Ray Hanselman debuted at No. 6, and Tim Reneau fell from No. 9 to 33rd.

There were plenty more moves throughout, so be sure to check where you, your friends and your favorite anglers rank.
