We received some interesting feedback when we decided to include the PAA in our Majors World Ranking. Some adamantly opposed it, while others – particularly professional anglers – applauded the decision.
Regardless of your stance, one look at some of the names in our ranking and it’s clear that some serious talent from both other major tours fishes the PAA. Now, having looked back to see who were the movers and shakers on the 2011 BASS Elite Series and FLW Tour the last two weeks, it’s time to do the same for the PAA.
New One-Year Rankings

You asked for it, and again, we listened.
Since the release of our site, users, anglers and industry personnel have been blown away with the amount of information on our site. Yet the one thing that kept popping up was the want for a one-year world ranking to show who is the best lately. While it was possible to gather that information via our Custom Search, we wanted to make it easier for users to access that information. Hence, you will now find a one-year criteria world ranking for Majors.

What a weekend of tournament bass fishing!
Between Dan Morehead’s comeback at the EverStart Championship to the sudden-death fish-off at the PAA Toyota Texas Bass Championship, Sunday was no day of rest. It was a day of drama.
As for the World Rankings, there was more jostling than actual moving thanks to a limited number of anglers fishing. Though there were some noteworthy trends.
