When events are only three years apart, it can be easy to compare them. Many are doing that with the 2016 Bassmaster Classic, which is back at Grand Lake after being there in 2013. Of course, plenty has changed since 2013. Heck, that year’s winner, Cliff Pace, won’t even be fishing the Classic this year.

Iaconelli soars, KVD falls outside top 10
This past weekend was noteworthy on a number of fronts. On the water, Michael Iaconelli winning on his home waters of the Delaware River was obviously the biggest. The victory broke a seven-year drought without a Major victory – his last Major win came in 2006 at Guntersville, though he did have six runner-up finishes
