Movers & Shakers: Table Rock, Cal Delta fallout
It was not a good week for most of the FLW Tour pros in the top 20.
Between a 2010 Lake Norman event dropping off and a tough Table Rock tournament over the weekend, eight of the 13 FLW pros in the Majors World Ranking top 20 saw their averages dip in the latest update.
Meanwhile, we have a new No. 1 in the Minors-only Ranking.
Movers & Shakers: Hartwell fallout
Brent Ehrler had an FLW Tour win drop from his ranking last week. He did a pretty good job of replacing it over the weekend.
Throughout the FLW Tour event on Lake Hartwell, Ehrler kept saying he was conserving his fish and didn’t want to be in the lead until after the final weigh-in. Looks like he wasn’t kidding, as the pro won his fourth FLW Tour event, effectively replacing his FLW Tour win at Table Rock from 2010 in the process.
So how much did the weekend victory help him in the Majors World Ranking? Well, he still hasn’t regained his spot at No. 1, but he’s back in the top five..
Movers & Shakers: TTBC, EverStart Championship Fallout
What a weekend of tournament bass fishing!
Between Dan Morehead’s comeback at the EverStart Championship to the sudden-death fish-off at the PAA Toyota Texas Bass Championship, Sunday was no day of rest. It was a day of drama.
As for the World Rankings, there was more jostling than actual moving thanks to a limited number of anglers fishing. Though there were some noteworthy trends.
